We use Finnish honey, which is unheated containing all the good enzymes and other nutrients which are at least partially destroyed when honey is heated or otherwise processed.
Honey raises the blood sugar much more evenly than white sugar. In addition, it is gentle to stomach.
Honey is not recommended to children under one year of age.
